Meet Tug I (New Digs)

Meet the gentle giant - Tug! He is a 3 year old, 75 pound (will be heavier once he’s filled out), yellow lab with the softest ears and a big smile. We came across Tug at a local animal shelter where he was malnourished and on the possible euthanasia list, and we couldn’t let him stay there. We adopted him to get him out of the shelter, healthy, and put weight back on. My wife and I have unfortunately found that our little apartment is way too small for him, and the fair and best thing to do for him is to find a long-term home that has more space for a dog his size. Tug is house and leash trained, and is very good at sitting and laying down. Tug’s love language is definitely physical affection, as he loves to be cuddled, hugged, pet, and nearby to his humans. Specifically, he would be amazing with young kids who need a safe dog. Mr. Tug really enjoys walks, playing with tennis balls, and he especially loves eating. Tug sleeps a TON - he sleeps through the night and takes multiple naps each day. Additionally, Tug is very sweet and tame around other dogs, kids, and new people. This gentle giant is deserving of a great new home with space for him to play and loving owners to give him the attention he deserves. We are so excited for Tug to find the perfect fit! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Tug, then please email [email protected].
