Meet ROSIE JO

Est DOB: 9/15/2019, approx. 50 lbs Rosie Jo is a sweetheart looking to cuddle and chill in your loving home. Rosie was hit by a car on August 21, 2022 and ended up behind some trashcans off Beechnut in Houston. She was in the hospital for over a month and was very loved at Westbury Animal Hospital during her time there. She recovered from her gashes and deep wounds (no broken bones) and wants a peaceful, gentle, and playful life moving forward. Rosie is very sweet and wiggles her way to meet each person she encounters. She loves other dogs she’s met so far and has the resiliency of a champion! Rosie Jo is in a foster home with other dogs and adults that she does well with.  Please consider making this adorable girl a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at :  https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1 $200 (including tax) adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates.  If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes.

Adoption Process
A completed and approved adoption application and contract is required. In some circumstances a home check may be required. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs (which includes spay/neuter, HW test (if over 6 months old) core vaccinations and rabies and flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care. $85 for cats which includes a FeLuk/FIV test, core vaccinations and rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter and wormer, flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care
