Meet MINA

Est. DOB: 10/23/23, spayed, chipped, up to date on vaccinations, tested heartworm positive but being treated  Mina is a super sweet and affectionate girl who loves socializing with people and other dogs. She plays well with her foster sister and has done well being introduced to doggie daycare. She does have a lot of energy and enjoys active play but she is also happy to be quietly at your side. She has some limited vision but it doesn’t seem to slow her down. She is house trained and hasn’t had any accidents since being in her foster home. She is crate trained but prefers to sleep in the bedroom. She is food motivated and knows the sit command. She is very gentle when told to sit and offered treats.   Mina is heart worm positive and tolerating the treatment well. Please  don't let that rule her out for you, she is currently on the slow approach to treatment which means she takes additional medication to his heartworm prevention every six months only (this can be provided by the rescue).    Mina would be a great addition to a family with the time to show her the love and attention she deserves. Mina is in a foster home with other dogs that she does well with.  Please consider making this gorgeous girl a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at :  https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1    $200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates.

Adoption Process
A completed and approved adoption application and contract is required. In some circumstances a home check may be required. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs (which includes spay/neuter, HW test (if over 6 months old) core vaccinations and rabies and flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care. $85 for cats which includes a FeLuk/FIV test, core vaccinations and rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter and wormer, flea and heartworm prevention while the animal is in our care
