Meet Lime
Lime was adopted from the Fort Worth Animal Shelter in 2022. Years later, his families dynamic changed with the addition of a new baby. Lime is use to being the king of the house and would do best in a home with no little kiddos/babies. He is now in the LHS adoption program seeking a forever home to call his own. This adorable 22lbs, almost 4 year old chihuahua would do best in a quiet home. He does not like chaos or loud noises. He is housebroken and able to have free roam of the house. He does great with other dogs. We have never seen him around cats but he would likely do ok given his size and temperament in general. He has been neutered, brought current on vaccinations, microchipped and he will be heartworm tested on 2/10/25. Fee is $200. Adoption Process
$200 fee for dogs and $250 puppies. They are fully vetted and put in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters complete an adoption app and we will check their vet reference or do a home check. Once they are approved,they will meet w/ the foster family and dog to see if it's a good match for their family.
