Meet Poochie

Meet Poochie, a sweet and loving 9-year-old Shorkie looking for his forever home. This gentle soul is currently being cared for by family that loving call him “Goose”, but he needs a permanent home where he can thrive in his golden years. He's known as a social butterfly that gets along with other dogs and children.    November is Adopt a Senior Month, making it the perfect time to open your heart to a senior dog like Poochie. Despite having some medical issues, his spirit is unbroken, and he has so much love to give. He enjoys quiet moments, gentle pats, and being close to his humans.    Poochie does have a cough from a collapsing trachea when he gets worked up although otherwise quiet, so we're seeking a serene and loving home where he can be the center of attention and receive the care and comfort he deserves. He's already housebroken and crate trained making him an easy addition to any home. Worth area Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application.  Adoption fee of $295 includes neuter/spay, microchip, heartworm testing, deworming, vaccinations, and other necessary procedures.  Applications without a phone number will not be processed.

Adoption Process
$200 adoption fee over 6 months, $225 for under 6 months, adoption contract, homevisit
