DFW Pup Patrol Rescue

We are a small independent rescue organization put together to help rescue and place homeless pets. These pets come from on the streets, a variety of shelters, owner surrenders, and we offer assistance to families needing to rehome their pet. All pets brought into our care or adopted by us are fully vetted including vaccinations, heartworm/fecal tested, spay/neuter, and are kept current on heartworm prevention. We support spay/neuter at all times as well as ensuring to the best of our ability a pet is placed in a forever home.

Meet Debo

Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link:   https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Hi my name is Debo. I was born on 10/11/2020 and I am an English Bulldog/Sheepdog mix. I am a medium sized dog but I weigh almost 70 lbs.  I'm a shy boy but bond quickly to my person/people. I'm good with kids and other dogs, although I prefer female dogs to males. I would be fine as an only dog or with another playmate pup. I am crate and potty trained and know how to use a dog door. Pup Patrol came to my rescue when my owner could no longer care for me. I am learning how to walk nice on leash and I already know the "sit" command. I am ready for a new family to love me forever.  If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at [email protected].  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention. Adoption Process
Requirements include: Screen application, check references, phone interview, if potential match play date is scheduled. If we move forward a home visit takes place making sure new potential pet is introduced properly to existing pets if applicable. If successful there is a mandatory 72-hour trial placement. For the potential adopter to take possession of the pet the adopter must fill out the contract, initial the adoption requirement statements, sign, date, and a check is collected for the adoption fee. Both contract and check are held for the entire 72 hours. At the end of the trial period, if both organization and potential adopter agrees on the placement, the organization signs and executes the contract and sends a copy of the contract along with medical records to the approved adopter. Follow ups are made in 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months minimally.
