Meet Little Nell

Nellie is a 9-week-old puppy who is small, sweet, and full of energy. She loves to play with her big foster brothers (two dogs who are much bigger than her). Even though she’s tiny, Nellie tries her best to keep up with them and make new friends. She hasn’t met any cats or kids yet, but she’s young and curious, so we think she’d do great in a home with either! Nellie is learning lots of new things. She’s already getting good at going potty outside and sleeping in her crate. She’s too little to go on walks just yet, but she can’t wait to explore when she’s bigger! Nellie’s story began when an officer found her and her 8 brothers and sisters on the street. She was taken to a shelter, and her foster mom picked her out because Nellie was the smallest puppy in the group. Now she’s growing bigger and braver every day! Nellie’s day is all about play, eat, nap, and repeat! She wakes up early in the morning to go potty and play before breakfast. After that, she explores and takes lots of naps near her foster mom while she works. In the evening, she eats dinner, plays with her toys and foster brothers, and then goes to sleep in her crate. Nellie loves to play with soft, squeaky toys, chew on bones, and sometimes chase her foster brothers. She’s also super cuddly and loves snuggling with people. She’s learning to be confident and brave, and when she’s excited, she runs around with cute little zoomies. Nellie is looking for a family to love her, play with her, and help her keep learning. Could that be you? 🐾 All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption.
