Straydog is a No-Kill Dog Shelter and Sanctuary located 70 miles SE of Dallas. Partner with Straydog and our mission – To rescue and rehabilitate homeless and abandoned dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into a caring, loving home; and to act as a sanctuary for those dogs who are never adopted. Because of our location, we are able to provide forever homes in our sanctuary to any rescues who do not get adopted. We believe in the total care of the animal forever and always.

Meet Cinderella

Hi! My name is Cinderella and I was found abandoned next door to Straydog.  Their kind neighbors could not keep me, so Straydog took me in and made sure I was healthy.  I have been at Straydog for a while now and everybody is so nice.  They found out I love to play ball and play in the water.  I love other dogs and all people.  I am full grown and weigh about 25 pounds  Everybody says I am a perfect size and that I am the sweetest girl.  I give kisses all the time and would love to have a forever home.  Come out to the shelter and meet me.  I will melt your heart.

Adoption Process
1. Application 2. Home Visit 3. Contract 4. $175 fee includes shots, spay/neuter, and heart worm prevention
