Lost Paws Rescue of Texas

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas was organized to prevent animal suffering, animal cruelty and to help educate the public about spaying and neutering their pets as well as responsible pet ownership. We dedicate ourselves to helping the homeless animals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area find permanent, loving forever homes. Our first priority is always for the welfare of the animals. We try hard to match families with animals that will best suit their lifestyle, we want our adoptables to be in their forever homes the first time they are adopted.

BREED-Shih Tzu SEX-Female; SIZE-Small; WEIGHT-6 lbs.; AGE-Approximately 3 Years; SPAY/NEUTER-Yes; HOUSETRAINED-Currently Uses Doggie Door; GOOD WITH KIDS-Yes; GOOD WITH DOGS-Yes; GOOD WITH CATS-Unknown; HISTORY-Rescued From A Local Shelter; ADOPTION FEE-$350; Psalm is about 3 years old and weighs about 6lbs. She was rescued from a breeder and is looking to be part of a family. Her foster family is helping her adjust to a home environment and she is learning a lot. She's not sure what to do with toys but is learning that they are things she can chew on.  Psalm will sit with you on the couch, and she just can't seem to give you enough kisses! She is working on her housetraining and has been using a potty pad. Additional training will be needed.  She is also unaware what a leash is so she will need help with this as well.  She is so cute, that you may just decide to carry her everywhere.  LOL   Psalm is going to need a home that is patient and willing to help her learn how to be a family dog.  Are you the right family for Psalm?

Adoption Process
Dog adoptions generally are $175 and Cats are $130. Adopters must complete an application.
