** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Joey is an adorable 3-month-old Chihuahua and Terrier blend who weighs approximately 7 pounds. He has a sweet temperament and is active and playful. He will make a loyal companion. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories. Adoption Process
Adoption fees range from $125-250 depending on the dog. We require an application and home visit before adoption. we have a 7 day trial adoption period before the final adoption is finalized. We have a 6 page adoption contract that finalizes the adoption.
