Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League

We are a rural rescue in Pipe Creek Texas. We have a nicely appointed outdoor kennel space with lots of land. We help with the overcrowding problem by taking in strays and pull off the euthanasia list to save dogs. We adopt locally in Texas and abroad to good homes. We then use a transporter to get them to their dream home if it is outside the state of Texas.

Meet Toby

Welcome Toby to CCPAL Rescue.  Toby is a 2-year old Schnoodle.  He weighs about 13 pounds and is tall and leggy like the poodle and has the soft fluffy coat of the poodle but the markings of schnauzer.  He is affectionate, social, good with all people and other dogs.  He is crate trained and learning leash work.  He has recently had a groom after he was found all matted and overgrown as a stray.  His teeth have a little build up but a few brushes and a greenie would do a lot to clean them up.  He likes being held and is very adorable.  This is a rare find in rescue but we are honored to find a proper forever home for this charming dog.  He is full grown and could put on a tiny bit of weight.  He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered soon and ready for his forever home.  He would love to be someone’s walking companion or lap dog.  He would be fine with children.  We like children to be 8 or older.  He is very trusting and could be injured by a younger child.    He will need regular grooming cuts and brushing to stay beautiful.  He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally.  We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  His adoption fee is $600 and transport is 200.  He will get a lot of applications.  We are a small rescue with very few but dedicated volunteers.  Please be patient if you apply for this boy.   We will need to assess the applications first to find the best fit.   Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 if you have any questions.  Please go to [email protected] with questions.  You can get an application online at www.ccpalrescue.org

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is 170 and transport on a ground transport is 185. We also use a plane and it is the normal airline rates.
