Meet Stretch Cunningham

Welcome Stretch Cunningham to CCPAL Rescue.  He is a 3-year-old Dachshund/Italian Greyhound is our best guess.    He is a little thin right now and weighs about 10 pounds.  He was found at a Bed and Breakfast here in Texas.  He was very affectionate and wouldn’t leave the guests a lone.  He is very affectionate and jumps up and helps you pick him up.  When you reach for him while someone is holding him then he puts his arms out to be held.  He loves affection and being held.  He would be fine with children.  We want them to be 8 or older.  This dog trusts everyone and we want him to stay that way.  Younger kids could hurt this small boy due to his very trusting and loving nature.  He is great with other dogs and causes no trouble in a group.  His focus is and always will be people.  He is a people person dog for sure.  We are thrilled to find his new forever home.  You will wonder how anyone could ever let a dog this great go.  We don’t know the reasons but we do think this is a treasure find in dog rescue.  He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.  Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states   Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to [email protected] if you have questions. Adoption Process
Adoption fee is 170 and transport on a ground transport is 185. We also use a plane and it is the normal airline rates.
