Meet Mal
Welcome Mal to CCPAL Rescue. He is an 11-month-old German Shepherd dog. Mal is potty trained, good in a car, good with other dogs. He loves children and was really nice and gentle with the child that he made. He is outgoing and social. He doesn’t have too much of a slope on his back legs so less of an issue as he ages with his hips. He is very attentive, very smart and will be a fun boy to train. He is loyal and social with new people. We would love a previous GSD owner for Mal. GSDs need to have mental and physical stimulation to be happy. He would be a great family dog with children as the children become a job for them. He has the typical Shepherd coat and bushy tail. He weight about 48 pounds and is a little thin. His foster will be working on him to give him more food. He was found as a stray and after exhausting all efforts to find his owner, they feel he may have been dumped as a stray. He is healthy, vaccinated and will be neutered soon. He is active and would be best with an active family to join. He would be great in social settings and in a crowd as he is very confident and friendly. He will be fun to train as he is very smart and attentive. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get Mal to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.
