Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League

We are a rural rescue in Pipe Creek Texas. We have a nicely appointed outdoor kennel space with lots of land. We help with the overcrowding problem by taking in strays and pull off the euthanasia list to save dogs. We adopt locally in Texas and abroad to good homes. We then use a transporter to get them to their dream home if it is outside the state of Texas.

Meet Skippy

Welcome Skippy to CCPAL Rescue.  He is a 3-year-old AKC Rat Terrier.  He came from a different breeder and was the male for a few litters.  He and Ziggy are kenneled together.  He has the beautiful black and white coat.  He is a little more dominant than some of the other Rat Terriers with his food so the breeder keeps him and Ziggy in a separate enclosure.  They are very sweet with people.  His  best home would be with a Rat Terrier lover and probably as an only dog.  He is wonderful with people and likes being held.  He is a very sweet dog and all these dogs are great at keeping the rat population down.  He weighs about 13 pounds and is really adorable.  His best home is going to be as an only dog so she can get all of the attention.  This is a very loyal and affectionate breed.  We are excited for Skippy to get his own real home and attention he deserves.  He is getting all his vaccines topped up, dewormed and will be ready for his forever home once she is neutered.  If you love the Rat Terrier breed you will love all of the dogs coming out of this group.  This breeder is an older lady and very much a wonderful dog person.  All the dogs in this setting are well cared for, nice teeth and shiny coats.  Skippy is going to be available in Texas through the CCPAL Rescue.  We can also work with the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Adoption Process
Adoption fee is 170 and transport on a ground transport is 185. We also use a plane and it is the normal airline rates.
