Meet Jackson
LOOKING FOR LOVE & UNDERSTANDING. I was saved from euthanasia on the last day of my deadline. I had been picked up as a stray and labeled feral by the shelter. You see, I had never known kindness from humans, and I was terrified of EVERYTHING. I had NEVER received love, affection, or been part of a family. Fast forward to today: I am a 2-year old energetic guy who gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and I am looking for my own family! My foster family says that I have come a long way, but I will still need a family with a dog-sibling to help me continue to figure this all out. My foster family has integrated me into their family, but it is time for me to find my own furever home! I am kennel-trained and potty-trained and take treats ever so gently. I am learning to walk on a leash and appreciate the new sights and smells. I crave structure and am a creature of habit. My people will need to continue my acclimation into being a family pet with consistency and positive reinforcement while I continue to experience new things and events. I am still cautious with new people and have learned to observe from a distance until comfortable, and I'd appreciate patience as I navigate. Please give me a chance to be your loyal family member and feel safe with humans. I am current on my vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Adoption Process
We ask a minimum $175 donation for dogs and $50 for cats. Puppies are $225 and kittens are $125. Senior dogs have a special rate of $100. All pets have their basic vaccinations, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. An adoption counselor interviews the potential adopting family, then has them complete the application.
