  Meet Raj, the delightful Lab/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his future size! This handsome boy found himself in need of a new home when he and his siblings were surrendered by their previous owner after being repeatedly found roaming the streets of Atascosa County. But don't let his rough start fool you; Raj is a smart, loving, and well-socialized pup, eager to find his forever family. Born on October 27, 2023, Raj is already showing signs of his impressive adult size. As of February 14, he weighs a sturdy 21.8 pounds, and with his breed mix, he's expected to tip the scales at well over 60 pounds once fully grown. But it's not just his size that makes Raj stand out; it's his loving nature and intelligence that truly shine. Raj thrives on human interaction and is eager to please, making him an ideal companion for families who are ready to welcome a big-hearted pup into their home. Whether he's curling up for snuggles or romping around in the yard, Raj is sure to bring joy and love to any household lucky enough to call him their own. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.  

Adoption Process
Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
