Straydog is a No-Kill Dog Shelter and Sanctuary located 70 miles SE of Dallas. Partner with Straydog and our mission – To rescue and rehabilitate homeless and abandoned dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into a caring, loving home; and to act as a sanctuary for those dogs who are never adopted. Because of our location, we are able to provide forever homes in our sanctuary to any rescues who do not get adopted. We believe in the total care of the animal forever and always.

Meet Talia

My name is Talia and I was rescued by Good Samaritans when they found me abandoned in a dog park. This kind family is fostering me and I love being in a home! Because of my beautiful coat and features, they think I am an Australian Kelpie mix. I weigh 51 pounds and am about 10 months old.  The vet says I will not be getting much bigger. I get along with my foster's other 2 dogs and their 2 year old child.  I am potty and crate trained.  I get a lot of outside play time and am stimulated with brain games, also.  I am learning simple commands such as sit, stay, and come.  Please contact Straydog to set up an appointment to come and meet me.

1. Application 2. Home Visit 3. Contract 4. $175 fee includes shots, spay/neuter, and heart worm prevention
