Pampa Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a network of volunteers in Pampa, Texas. We are very active in the rescue, fostering and adoption of homeless animals, in providing spaying and neutering programs and helping out at our local animal shelter, all with the goal of improving the lives of the animals in our area. We are a rescue formed to offer an alternative for animals that would otherwise face an uncertain future. We are a group of volunteers that have a passion for animals and the rescue mission of finding loving homes for the animals under our care.

Hey, I’m the cute one out of the group! Although, I must admit that I don’t have the golden hair locks! I do have a beautiful coat of fur that is good to the touch. Hey, you don’t have to spend tons of bucks on my wardrobe! Can you mend my broken heart since my owner never came to get me? I can’t understand it since I always have a smile on my face and am a LOVER. You just can't stop me from dancing or jive talking; I just want to be staying alive with a loving family! So, let me show you how deep is my love and come get me! Here is what the crew has to say about me:This is Barry who is probably around 8 months old and 55 pounds.He is very nice and friendly. He gets along with other dogs. Happy boy. He was found on the lam so his history is a mystery! Handsome feller too. Adoption Process
Pick out an animal on the web site or come to the shelter. Then fill out an adoption application at the shelter. Cats adoption fees are $85 and dogs are $95. They animals will be fully vaccinate (age appropriate), spayed or neutered and microchipped.
