Meet Shadow

Approx DOB: 6/1/23 Weight: 50 lbs  Shadow was found stray and his owners never came forward. He's now looking for a forever family of his very own! He's house trained and does great with kids and other dogs. Shadow doesn't get along with cats.  Shadow is a very sweet and loving dog.  He loves to play and wants to be with people all the time! He is a very good companion.  He's working on learning not to jump when he gets excited.  He is very smart, and surely will pick up on training very quickly.  He is not currently crate trained but is working on it.  He is very food driven, and will do anything for a treat! He loves to chew on and eat socks, cloth gloves, pot holders, etc., so be sure to keep those small cloth items out of his reach!  He is a bit shy at first when meeting new people, but will warm up very quickly, especially with treats.  His favorite toys are his stuffed animals, and he loves playing fetch/chase with them and also throwing them up in the air himself to catch them!    Adoption fee is $275 and he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/

Adoption Process
$200 fee for dogs and $250 puppies. They are fully vetted and put in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters complete an adoption app and we will check their vet reference or do a home check. Once they are approved,they will meet w/ the foster family and dog to see if it's a good match for their family.
