Meet Ladybug
Meet our sweet Lady Bug! When we first met Lady Bug in the shelter several months ago, you could see life had not been easy. She had obviously had a couple litters of puppies and her eyes were so sad. She looked totally defeated. However, she was such a good girl and let us exam her teeth, paws, and brush her coat. You could see she only wanted to be loved and would easily bond with people. Lady Bug loves to sunbath on mild sunny days on an outdoor bench with a chew toy or good bone. If you want her to be more active, she loves playing a game of tug with anyone who will indulge her or fetching balls. She also enjoy walks and anytime spent with people. Lady Bug is a four year old Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs around 55 pounds. She is potty trained, totally vetted and ready for a home for the holidays. Lady Bug will require a home with a 6’ wooden fence. She would do best as an only dog because she can be dog selective. When introduced to cats, she had no reaction, so we would introduce to cats cautiously as per personality of the cat. If you would like to foster or adopt Lady Bug, please email [email protected]
Adoption Process
Adopters must complete an adoption contract and be approved by a GAP representative or the foster parent before adoption. All dogs are required to be put on or continue their heartworm preventative and are highly encouraged to be on flea preventative.
Adoption fees from the Euless Animal Shelter are: male dogs & cats = $60, female dogs and cats = $85. Male puppies under 4months $125, female puppies under 4months $150 to cover all puppy vaccine series, deworming, and neutering. Adoption fees for animals in foster: male dogs = $100, female dogs = $125 (this includes heart worm testing in addition to the vaccines and neutering). Cats in foster are $60 for males and $85 for females. If an animal has a different adoption fee, it will be listed on their specific adoption page.
