Meet Olaf (New Digs)
This is Olaf and he is a very sweet almost 6 year-old pit bull/boxer mix. He is neutered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations and is heart worm negative. One of his favorite activities is playing fetch with the kids. He sometimes lets them have the ball but never lets them win at his other favorite game, tug-of-war. He also just enjoys them chasing him around the yard. Heâs great at wearing out the kids. Another favorite activity of Olafâs is cuddling with his family (or anyone), especially when they let him sit on their lap. He loves to give big kisses on the mouth and enjoys big hugs. He enjoys going for walks and is working on being polite on the leash. Heâs a quick learner so it wonât be long before he masters that skill. Heâs at that perfect age where he still loves to play but is also happy staying in on a rainy day and napping with his people. He is completely house trained and can go all day (8-10 hours) without an accident. Iâve never tried him in a crate but he was fine in a small pen after his ACL surgery. This summer he graduated from a two week training program at All Dogs Unleashed and his new family can call anytime for help for the rest of my life, including home visits. Due to health issues, we were unable to keep up with his training but heâs really intelligent and with support from his trainer he can get back on track in no time. (All at no cost to his new family). Olaf likes to get a lot of attention so he would be happiest being an only pet. He doesnât like cats at all. However, he has never met a person of any age that he didnât immediately fall in love with. He will run out of an open gate to wonder the neighborhood but seems to always make his way back after saying hi to everyone outside. He is a very loyal dog that will share all of his love and smiles with his forever family. The only reason we are rehoming him is because he has become aggressive towards our other dogs since blending our two families. It is mostly due to him not wanting to share the attention. He deserves to get all the love and attention he wants for the rest of his life because he is such a sweet soul. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Olaf, then please email [email protected].
