Meet Calvin
Meet Calvin – The Sweet & Mellow Gentleman! ❤️Calvin is a 12-year-old Chihuahua with a heart as big as his soulful puppy-dog eyes. This little guy is as low-maintenance as they come—his favorite activities include napping, getting treats, and simply being by your side. He’s a quiet, gentle companion who would love nothing more than a cozy spot to relax in and a loving family to dote on him. With a low energy level, Calvin is the ultimate couch potato. He enjoys daily walks but isn’t one for wild adventures—he’s perfectly content taking life at a slower pace. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. While he gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, he does appreciate his personal space when he’s snoozing and may give a little growl if another dog gets too close to his bed.Calvin has no teeth, so he’ll need soft food, and he takes daily pain medication for arthritis to keep him comfortable. But don’t worry—his sweet nature and loving personality more than make up for his tiny quirks!Whether you live in an apartment or a house, Calvin will be the perfect fit as long as he has a warm bed, gentle care, and someone to appreciate his adorable, quiet presence. If you’re looking for a mellow, easygoing companion who will melt your heart with just one look, Calvin is ready to be your new best friend! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
