Meet Ginger
Meet Ginger! ❤️ Ginger is a loving and affectionate lap dog looking for her forever home! This 2 year old chihuahua mix adores being close to her humans and will happily curl up on your lap for cuddles. With a friendly and sweet temperament, she gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids—especially enjoying the company of her past family's dog and 8-year-old child.Ginger has a medium energy level, getting most excited when you come home but settling down quickly. She enjoys a short daily walk and is crate trained, making her comfortable staying in a kennel during the day. However, she needs a little refresher on her house training and may chew on small objects she finds, so a patient family willing to continue her training would be ideal. While she does guard bones from both dogs and people, Ginger is otherwise well-mannered and does well on a leash. She barks when someone is at the door but isn’t overly vocal. She rides in the car but can be a little nervous.Ginger would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention and snuggles. Whether in an apartment or a house with a yard, she just wants to be near her people! If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion, Ginger might just be the perfect fit for your family! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
