I'm that thing at the end of the rainbow...pure gold. My name is Vixi and I am a wonderful, 1 year old, 36 pound, Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix! I was recently brought to Utah from New Mexico with my two Polar Bear puppies. They have been weaned and now I get a break from responsibilities! Raising puppies on the street is not so easy. I am great with all adults, kids, cats, and other dogs! I do not have a fear of men like some dogs do. My foster mom describes me much like my ears: "flippy!" I have the cutest mannerisms, I'm always excited for everything! When I'm outside I like to prance around like a deer and throw my head back. I am occasionally timid, but I haven't been in my foster home for very long and have built up so much confidence in just a few days. I don't have far to go to being a very confident dog, I just need good decompression in a solid home that gives me things I can count on like food, shelter, and love. I do amazing in my crate! No accidents and no whining. I haven't had any accidents in the house either but I should be on a good potty schedule in a new place, as I have probably never lived in a home until now. I am quickly learning how to work a doggy door! I am working on my leash manners as well, I am not too shabby and am learning fast but sometimes I stop walking if I see something that looks like it could be a threat. I let my foster mom rub my feet and trim my nails with no problems, I have cute little pink toe beans. I don't love bath time but I don't make complaints or try to escape. I have a delightfully soft coat! I like to relax in the warm house next to my foster mom, but I also love to get good exercise! I get along great with all of my foster dog siblings. I had been through a lot right before meeting all of them so at first I bluffed that I was loud and scary but after getting to know them through my crate and on a leash we are pretty good friends now. I am very waggly with them and give lots of play bows. Come out and meet me today and I promise you'll be doing an Irish Jig all the way back home! Apply @ https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
