Meet Rio!Observed by shelter staff and foster:Rio is a 5 year old intact male labrador/Weimaraner mix. Currently we have a donation to get him neutered we are just working on getting him an appointment. Rio is a mellow guy who enjoys hanging around. Shelter life has been hard on him as he has sensitive skin and paw pads. His foster mom has nursed him back to health and now he is so ready for a forever home. Rio will need to be on a sensitive skin and stomach diet. He has done well with big and small dogs and has also lived with cats. Rio has met dog savvy kids and done well with them with a slow introduction. He walks well on the leash but is strong. He loves to play fetch with the ball! He knows the commands sit, come, is learning wait/stay and is potty trained. He is treat motivated and smart. He is a gentle, mellow, loving dog who quickly develops loyalty for his people!
