Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Mr. Koda, or Koda to my friends! I am about 11 months old and 70 pounds, but don't let that fool you. They say age is but a number, and my foster family agrees. I am very well behaved for a young'n and am eager to learn. I have been really working on crate training and think I'm getting to understand it's my safe space. My foster family knows skills like waiting at the door and being able to chill with my pack are really valuable so I have been working on that too. They don't really talk to me that much which I appreciate because I can't understand a lot of human words and too much talking just amps me up and I will try to talk back. I am a fairly self-content boy and as any good pup I am excited to be around people. Dogs are great fun and I am learning how to be good at minding my manners and really appreciate when the other dog also knows how to give me space too. I'm excellent at my "place" command and love to hang on the dog bed in the evenings! And boy do I love to run! I have long legs and an even longer tail to help keep me balanced. I've heard of these things called cats but haven't had the chance to meet one yet but my former family noted that I did well around cats. The few children I've seen have spooked me and I just don't think I know enough about them to be comfortable yet. I love rolling in the snow and chomping on snow balls thrown my way. My eyes and coloring say I'm a Catahoula Leopard Dog, but who knows! On walks I am really great at staying in a loose leash but super loud trucks definitely can spook me. I'm growing my confidence every day and really love being pet when I'm doing a good job. I am excited to meet my new family and hope we all get to be the best of pals.
