Meet Happy Jack

Oh my gosh! Hi!!! I’m Happy Jack and I’m so excited to meet you. I’m about 3-years-old, a Border Collie mix, I have gorgeous grey spots and the softest, most pet-able fur (boy do I ever love to be pet). I weigh about 50 pounds, and I’m fully grown, I walk pretty well on the leash and LOVE going for walks. I know sit and down, and I’m working on stay and shake. I’ll do almost anything for a treat so training has been going well. I respond very well to a stern no, as I’m still learning all the rules of being a house dog. I sleep all night silently in my crate, and go in easily during the day, but I’m not destructive so I can be left unattended from time to time. I’m also a pretty quiet guy and I don’t bark very often. My foster mom says I’m the happiest and sweetest foster pup she’s had yet. I love running in the yard, playing fetch, laying in the sun, getting love and attention, and giving love to my temporary humans. I get along very well with other dogs and would do great in a home with another playful dog. I LOVE people and the big kids I’ve been around, I haven’t been around small kids, but my foster family thinks I would do well with them. I am not sure about cats, because as far as anyone knows I haven’t met one, but I would be willing to do a meeting if a potential new family has a cat. All I’m really looking for in a family is the chance to be loved. I don’t need a lot of exercise to be happy, but I do like getting out, I am pretty far along on my “domesticated” dog training, but could use some continued training, just like all dogs. If you think I could be what your family is looking for, apply to meet me at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
