Meet Bob Newheart

Hi!  My Name is Bob Newhart – Bob for short. I am a 7-month-old Queensland Healer mix I weigh about 20 pounds, when I am full grown I will weigh about 40- 45 pounds. I love everyone, big dogs, little dogs and all humans.  Not sure about cats, I am sure we could find a way to co-exist.  Still working on my leash skills, I have never been on one and it scares me. I have spent the last few months of my life in a small studio apartment (my foster mom calls it a shelter). I am not shy; I do not have a mean bone in my body.  I am a lover, not a fighter.  I am working on my potty training, and I will go into my new condo (kennel) with a bit of food coaxing. I am extremely food motivated!   I sleep in my new condo just fine! My mom says that I look like I have polka dot boots on my front legs, I will pounce around and show you if you let me.  I have long legs so they are thigh high boots, I guess. I am very fond of sticks, and stuffed animals, I am completely content with a good stick.  I know my name and will come when you call.  I am working on my basic commands, so patience would be amazing.  I would make a great herding dog, or couch dog, I will be happy with either.  I just need a home to love me the way I will love them, I will be your best friend. I am a complete catch with the best smile ever.  I would be great for long walks and snuggling! I would love to meet you and show you my loving skills.  If you would like to meet me please fill out the application at: https://rescuerovers.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4087
