Hi, I’m Ammos and I’m gunning for your heart! I’m a 6-8 year old heeler with so much love and life to give. I’ve got a beautifully thick coat and weigh about 55 pounds. I may be older and mellow, but when it comes to fetch I can really get going! My short time in the shelter was very scary, but thankfully Rescue Rovers took a chance on me. Now that I’m somewhere safe, I show all my love by curling up in my foster’s arms and often walk up to her to tuck my neck in for those good scratches. I am a very sweet boy who gets sillier the more comfortable I get and who takes treats very gently. And while I’d really love to curl up with the cat I live with, she’s a little more hesitant. For now I slowly sneak next to her in the bed. I have met dogs and did well with them, but may prefer a slower speed friend since I’m so chill. But maybe the right playful pup can bring it out of me! At night time, I’ll sleep soundly next to your bed. During the day, I am a trustworthy guy who can be left out alone and will snooze all day if you need to go to work. Or, if you’re taking me with you that’s okay too! I’m great in the car and walk great on a leash. If you’re ready for a loving and loyal companion who has the sweetest little “awooos” when sirens drive by, a pply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
