Meet Scoops LePue
Meet Scoops LaPue! Scoops LaPue is a confident and fun-loving pup with a unique personality and a love for adventure! This 8 year old, easy-going chiweenie enjoys being around people and is always ready to show off his impressive repertoire of tricks, including "sit," "lay down," "spin," "stick 'em up," and even "bang!" He has great recall and absolutely loves going on hikes, making him a perfect companion for an active family. While Scoops is friendly and playful, he would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and comfortable. He gets along with dogs but has had some past reactivity with very dominant male dogs. Though he can be a bit high-strung around other dogs at first, he enjoys the dog park and matches the energy of those around him. When it comes to cats, he’s unbothered and simply ignores them.At home, Scoops is crate trained, house trained, and enjoys finding the coziest spot to curl up for a snooze. He does well in an apartment setting as long as he gets his daily walks and exercise. He can be left alone for short periods without anxiety and rides fairly well in the car.Scoops would do best in a home with older kids and a patient family who understands his needs. He may benefit from a calm and docile canine friend but would also be happy as the center of attention. With the right environment, Scoops LaPue is sure to be a loyal, entertaining, and adventurous companion!Could Scoops be the perfect fit for your home?Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
