Meet Picasso

Oh Hello! My name is Picasso! I’m a 5 month old, Male terrier mix, or so they say. I’m so adorable with my flopped over brown ears and the scruffy whiskers on my face. I’m the big guy of my litter at 25 lbs. Our best guess is that I’ll grow to be about 45 lbs., I’m already pretty tall. I love to run and play, wrestling with my litter mate, chasing balls, chewing on sticks and exploring the yard are my favorite. I sometimes think I have to protect my brother and the rest of the family from strange objects in the yard or nearby barking dogs but I’m learning to just ignore and not bark. When it comes to other dogs, I can be a little tense, so slow intros with dogs are best since I might not like everyone at first.  I do tend to get worried that I won't get enough food or you won't share treats with me,  I would probably do best as an only dog. My foster family has a chill outdoor cat who I don’t see very often but I’m very curious of him and I think given time we could be friends. I’m a pretty quiet guy once I get the hang of my environment, I’ve had a lot of changes in my life recently, so I’ll need help building my confidence but I’m willing to try with you by my side. I’m great in my crate and am more than happy to chill in there once all my needs have been met. OH and did I mention?  I’m fantastic at sleeping in my crate all night without a peep! I love to run and play outside, and sniffing all the wonderful smells with my person is my idea of the perfect day. Despite being a little shy at first, I get along well with all people although I am learning not to jump up. I currently live with kids of all ages and I think they are pretty great.  I love walks! I’m learning to not pull and let the people be in charge. I’m a quick learner though and working hard to be completely potty trained! I never have accidents in my kennel and will quietly whine if I need to go out. I would love to find a family who is committed to giving me all the training and attention I need to live a happy and active life. I would be the best adventure buddy!  If you think I could be your new best friend, then let’s meet up! Apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
