Meet Ethel
Ethel is a 6-year-old 13-pound female very soft hair yellow and tan cairn terrier. She could afford to lose a pound or 2, which she is still working on, but is making good progress. This little gal became a part of the CAWS family after she ended up at the shelter after being found as a stray. She recently had blood work which was good and a dental, no teeth extracted. Ethel gets along wonderfully with everyone in the foster home, big and small, male and female. She loves to play with other dogs and toss her toys about and squeak them. She is house and crate trained but her 2-legged people work from home so she does not have to be crated too often. She loves cuddling with her 2-legged people and 4 legged canines on the couch and sleep with them, but totally okay to sleep on the floor in a dog bed as well. She gives gentle kisses and hugs. Ethel stands on her back feet with her front paws in the air pawing when she gets excited, so dang cute. She won’t require professional grooming but will need to be brushed on a regular basis. This little girl is the most wonderful, precious, loving and sweet adorable dog ever. She radiates sheer delight and gentleness. She will do some barking while in the back yard just to let people know on the other side of the fence she is out there and it is her world, such a good guard dog! This angel has utterly turned out to be a little gem, dang near perfect. Ethel needs to go to a home with a yard so she can meander and wonder to do her business. Ethel just wants to find her furever family and to be safe for the rest of her life. We do not know how she is with children but recommend she go to a home with older kids as she can be a little mouthy. If you are interested please reach out for a meet and greet. Ethel will make the greatest most wonderful companion.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
