Meet Kevin (the) Minion

Hi,  I’m Kevin the Minion.   I’m an Aussie/Border Collie mix and I'm about 7 months old, so when I’m full grown I’ll probably be about 40-50 lbs.   My favorite game is to play fetch and I can catch a ball mid-air.   When my foster mom's not available to play ball with me I'm pretty good at entertaining myself, I love to chew on my doggie toys and have pretty much learned what's ok to chew on and what's not.  I also like to use my brain and nose to solve treat puzzles, my favorite is when my foster mom gives me a snuffle mat stuffed with yummy treats.  I am working on my leash manners and enjoy adventuring outside with my foster pack.  Although I get along great with my foster sister and brother, I have some big feelings when it comes to meeting new dogs and with fast moving objects, like little kids running around.    I would do best with a family who is patient and willing to put in the time to help me overcome my fears and big feelings. Until then I think I’d be better off as a single doggie and/or with a family who has older kids (12 and up).   I’ve mastered sleeping the whole night in my crate as well as some basic commands like sit and lay down, I’m still working on not jumping up.     As for potty training I’m 100%, I can even use a doggy door.   I love to snuggle on my foster mom’s lap or next to her feet while she works.  I’d love a family who will continue my training and socialization, play with me and take me on lots of walks.  Oh yeah, I can’t forget hugs and cuddles, I’ll need lots of those too!  If you think you’d like to be my forever family please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication *Amazing news! I am part of Rescue Rovers $95 days of Summer Special! My adoption fee is discounted by $95 for a limited time – so apply to meet me today!
