Meet Gunnar – The Sweetest Terrier Mix Around!Gunnar is an 8-month-old terrier mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. Weighing in at 25 pounds, he’s the perfect size to join you on adventures, cozy up for a snuggle, and brighten your days with his friendly, loving personality.Gunnar’s journey so far has been one of learning, growing, and bringing joy to those around him. He’s a happy and outgoing pup who loves life—and especially his toys! Squeaky toys, tug ropes, tennis balls—if it’s a toy, it’s his favorite.He’s got plenty of energy for playtime, but Gunnar doesn’t need much to stay happy. A couple of short walks during the day and access to a yard where he can explore and burn off some puppy energy are just right for him. Despite his medium energy level, he’s also a pro at winding down, and you’ll find him ready for some evening snuggles once the day quiets down.Gunnar is incredibly smart and has already picked up some great manners. He’s crate trained and can comfortably spend a typical workday in his crate. He’s also well-behaved on a leash and enjoys his walks. House training is about 90% complete, and he’s learning quickly.This sweet boy gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets. He’s great with other dogs and has learned a lot from his canine foster siblings, though he’d also do well as the only dog in his new home. Gunnar is curious but gentle with cats and is friendly and patient with kids.Gunnar is discovering his voice and may bark when startled or when something new catches his attention, but this is just his way of learning and processing the world around him. With time and reassurance, he’s sure to grow even more confident.What makes Gunnar truly special is his loving, adaptable nature. He’s a quick learner and loves to please, which makes training and bonding with him a joy. From his playful daytime energy to his affectionate snuggles in the evening, Gunnar is the perfect mix of fun and love.Gunnar would thrive in a home with a yard to explore and a family to love him.
