Meet Shere Khan

Meet Shere Khan, a confident and playful 6-month-old Aussie / Shepherd mixed breed who is sure to bring joy and energy to any home! At approximately 38 lbs, Khan is a happy, curious puppy who loves to play, explore, and of course, take plenty of naps when he’s all tuckered out from his adventures.Khan’s favorite pastime is unloading the toy box—he loves dragging out every single toy and making sure they’re all spread across the floor. He’s got a medium energy level, so he’s always ready for fun, but he also knows when to relax and enjoy a good nap. His playful spirit makes him a great companion for other dogs who love to wrestle, play, and do zoomies. Khan is also great with kids, although he does tend to jump when he's excited, something we’re working on.When it comes to training, Khan is still a work in progress. He’s not crate trained yet, and we don’t know how he would do in one, but he is working on leash training and is partially house-trained. Easy access to the outside would help with his house training, as he loves exploring the yard and being outdoors. He’s also done well when left at home with other dogs, showing that he’s a good and respectful companion.In terms of grooming, Khan is pretty low-maintenance—he does well with baths and doesn’t need much more than the occasional brushing. He’s a smart puppy with a bit of stubbornness, but he’s eager to please and is always ready to be your best friend.Khan would thrive in a home with another dog to play with or older children who can keep up with his energetic nature. An active couple would also be a great fit for this little adventurer. He loves being included in all family activities and would enjoy any opportunity to bond with his people.Khan is a sweet, smart, and affectionate boy who is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow, learn, and have fun.
