Meet Mona and Teddy

Meet Mona and Teddy! A perfectly mismatched yet completely inseparable pair from Hamilton, OH—Mona, a spirited eight-year-old Beagle/Pug/Chihuahua/Terrier mix, and Teddy, her devoted five-year-old German Shepherd/Collie mix sidekick. Together, they’re a heartwarming duo of cuddles, quirks, and companionship, looking for a new loving home where their bond can stay unbroken. Mona may be small in size at just 20 pounds, but she packs in more energy than dogs twice her weight! With her sleek black brindle coat and her big expressive eyes, she’s always ready for a round of fetch or a brisk jog around the yard. Smart as a whip and hilariously food-motivated, Mona will happily show off her tricks in exchange for a treat—or two... or five. Just keep an eye on the high-value snacks—this girl has serious scavenger skills! After a solid play session, she’s all about curling up next to you, especially if there's a cozy blanket involved. Teddy, on the other hand, is Mona’s golden-and-black shadow. At 50 pounds, he’s the soft-hearted, couch-loving type who acts more like a wise old soul than a young pup. His favorite place? Wherever you are! While food is secondary in his world, he’ll never say no to belly rubs or gentle words. He can be shy in new situations and gets a little overwhelmed with fast movements or unfamiliar faces, but once he finds his groove, he’s incredibly loyal and sweet. His gentle nature has blossomed under Mona’s wing, and he absolutely thrives in a predictable, loving routine. Both Mona and Teddy are crate trained, fully house-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. They’re friendly with cats (in fact, Mona used to play with one!) and tend to be shy but polite with other dogs. Thunderstorms and windy nights are not Mona’s favorite, and Teddy finds comfort in routine when facing something new—but together, they’re each other’s safe place. This cuddly pair comes with years of shared history and love. Could your home be the next chapter in their journey? If you’re ready for double the cuddles and a lot of love, reach out to [email protected]! Are Mona and Teddy the companions you’ve been waiting for?
