Passion 4 Paws

Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Nacho

MEDICAL ADOPTION  IN VERMONT    Meet Nacho!  Nacho is 7 months old, male (approx. DOB 12-27-23), 9 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and microchipped. Nacho was found abandoned on the streets of Saudi Arabia. When we were asked to help get Aria to come to the US, a different dog that fellow Vermonters working in Saudi Arabia, we found Nacho and figured "Why can't we save him too?" so we did! Aria and Nacho arrived in Boston, then in Vermont on June 15th!  He is the most fun-loving, happy, grateful little munchkin! He gets along well with dogs, cats, and all people! We believe he was born with a deformity in his back right leg, but it doesn't slow him down one bit! It's possible he could benefit greatly from having it amputated (it is not repairable) so he doesn't have to carry it around and can be even faster than he is. He is not putting any weight on it so the leg is not serving a purpose. Other than the leg, he is very healthy and happy! Nach loves EVERYONE and is travel-sized to go anywhere with his new family! Stay tuned for more information as Nacho is a new rescue! If you are interested in adopting Nacho please fill out an Application at  www.Passion-4-Paws.org  (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks! Please note Fosters have 1st option of Adoption.  Check out his Facebook page (and "Like" us while you're there)!
