Meet Rainy

Meet Rainy! A spirited eighteen-month-old Terrier mix from Greensboro, NC, whose zest for life is as bright as her white coat adorned with striking brown brindle patches. This energetic young lady is in the midst of her puppy training classes, showing off her sharp mind and eagerness to learn! Rainy is an adventurer at heart and would make the perfect companion for a family or individual who loves to be active. Whether it's running, hiking, or simply exploring the great outdoors, Rainy is ready to be right by your side, turning every outing into a joyful adventure! Rainy is great with other dogs, especially those close to her age who enjoy a good romp. She thrives in environments where there’s plenty of room to run, play, and engage in all sorts of physical activities. A fenced yard is a must for this lively pup, as she needs space to stretch her legs and burn off her abundant energy. And while she loves to chew—especially when she’s feeling a bit anxious—a good daily dose of exercise and mental stimulation will help her channel that energy in positive ways. This playful Terrier mix has a soft spot for sticks, balls, bones, and any chew toy she can get her paws on. Rainy also loves discovering new things, splashing around in the water, and just being a dog! She’s been working hard on her commands, and she already knows “down,” “wait,” “sit,” “come,” “leave it,” “take it,” and “ne ne.” With continued training and a lot of love, Rainy will continue to blossom into the loyal and well-behaved companion she’s destined to be! Rainy is crate trained, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She does have a slight allergy during pollen season, but it's nothing major. She can be left alone for short periods, especially if she has something to occupy her. However, she might get anxious if left unattended for too long or if she senses yelling or harsh reprimands, so a calm and patient environment is ideal. Rainy’s journey hasn’t been easy—she’s endured severe neglect and abandonment—but she’s come through it all with her trust and love for life intact. She’s a dog who needs kindness, patience, and a family who understands that she might be a little anxious when she first arrives. But once she knows she’s safe, Rainy will reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless fun, and a lifetime of love! Rainy's new family should be prepared to give her the attention and engagement she craves, taking her out for walks and hikes, and continuing her training.  Are you ready to welcome Rainy into your heart and home, providing her the love and adventures she’s been waiting for? Reach out to [email protected] and start your journey with this incredible companion today!
