Meet Paisley in NH * $250 adopt fee

**special adoption fee $250**Paisley is an eight month old lab mix. She weighs approximately 35 pounds making her a nice medium sized dog. Paisley and her 2 sisters (who will arrive in a few weeks) were found as abandoned strays. All three are dog and people friendly. Paisley has a spunky personality and needs daily exercise. another dog would be great for her.. She loves to just sit and love on you. She likes soft chew toys, finding the squeakers in stuffies, running around and to get lots of pets. Paisley was fostered on a 100 acre catfish farm in MS. As with any young lab she will need to get plenty of exercise. Paisley needs a fenced yard or someone committed to working with her to walk on a leash. She gets frightened walking along the road. She does fine on trails in woods. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. Please know we practice Covid-19 guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing.  Only approved applicants are allowed to meet our dogs outdoors. Adoption Process
we prefer to match our pet to the best home rather than first come, first serve. review applications, interview applicant, call landlord if applicable. cal vet to determine previous pets care. call two personal references. conduct a virtual or in person home visit. set up meet and greet with entire family. If all goes well an adoption contract is signed. adoption fees are 100. cats, 175 kittens, 450 adult dogs, 500 puppies. our cats are adopted as indoor cat only. Since we will primarily have great pyrenees and pyr mixes we strongly suggest fenced yards, no apartments and experience with strong dominant breeds.
