Passion 4 Paws

Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Baley

IN VERMONT  Meet Baley (bonded w Ottis)!  https://youtu.be/oJBhEbF2mQ4 Baley is 14 months old (approx. DOB 12-19-21), male, 61 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Baley was very nervous being dropped off at the shelter with his BFF Ottis; his owner could no longer afford to keep them. Baley is loving, caring, intelligent, super curious about everything and always ready to play. He has all the great qualities of a lab and the health resilience of a mutt. Baley has spent a lot of time with children and Ottis whom he is bonded very closely. He loves being outdoors. Being so young does mean he will take his time to get to know you, but once does know and trust you, he will be head over heels to please you. He loves being outdoors, and spent a great first summer outdoors. Once adjusted he is not afraid of many things , not even cars or ambulances. He loves all kinds of commotion. He'll be a great friend and his owner was sad to have to surrender him so early in his life, he can call any place his home and be a forever friend. Baley loves the outdoors and going out for long walks, knows basic commands............will be a great best friend. Stay tuned for more information as Baley is a new rescue! If you are interested in adopting Baley and/or Ottis please fill out an Application at  www.Passion-4-Paws.org  (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks!
