Meet JuneBug: At the shelter

Active, wiggly, and all over the place wanting to play, that's what you get with JuneBug! She is about 20 pounds and happy, happy, happy! Watch those feet dance off the ground, and see how she interacts with others. Here's her personal story:"Hello there, I'm June Bug! I've got a heart full of sweetness, a spirit that's friendly, and a nature that's as gentle as a summer breeze. I may be petite, but my personality is as big as the sky! I'm all about making friends, whether they walk on two legs or four. I love to share quiet moments, playful romps, and everything in between. I'm a good listener, too. I've heard it said that I'm quite the charmer. But don't just take my word for it, come and see for yourself! Adopting me means gaining a friend who will cherish you every day, and a companion who will bring joy to your life. I'm ready to start our journey together, are you?"     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.

Adoption Process
Begin with an application to adopt. Other pets in household must be spay/neutered, current with rabies vaccines, dogs need to be current with HW testing and heartguard. Fees range between $75 and $300. We follow up on spays/neuters for pets under six months, and the fees include spay/neuter. Contract requires it. Adults are adopted out already spayed/neutered. Pets must be returned to FOAC if adoption ends.
