Meet Dr. Pepper
Though only about a year old, Dr. Pepper is an old-school kinda hound-- adaptable to new situations and seems to look at life with a stoic resolve that love is in his destiny. Its as if he knows, if he waits patiently, that perfect person will come take him home. He is a very reasonable guy, will walk calmly on lead, and isn’t much of a crooner. Dr. Pepper loves to be stroked on his head and face-- of course he enjoys body rubs too. Since he has been at Almost Home, he likes to meet other dog residents, meet visitors, and have time to jog around our yards. Dr. Pepper has a dignity that shows in his lovable face. He is waiting to give someone his whole heart in that special way only a hound can.
