Sweet Wilbur arrived as a stray after being found by a local citizen in a rural part of our county. He is a most happy boy now that he has settled in to the routine of shelter life, and he looks forward to the volunteers coming to get him out for walks and loving. Wilbur's eye was slightly inflamed when we first met him and we were worried about a chronic eye issue, but it is back to normal now, and he is feeling just fine! Wilbur has an amazing temperament and is easy-going and easy to walk. He is a very special boy to us! He has an upcoming vet appointment for routine 4DX heartworm testing and will be given a rabies shot at the same time. Come visit our lovely boy at the shelter. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. Adoption Process
Begin with an application to adopt. Other pets in household must be spay/neutered, current with rabies vaccines, dogs need to be current with HW testing and heartguard. Fees range between $75 and $300. We follow up on spays/neuters for pets under six months, and the fees include spay/neuter. Contract requires it. Adults are adopted out already spayed/neutered. Pets must be returned to FOAC if adoption ends.
