Meet Cookie (VA)

Are you ready for a life of fun? Smart and sweet, Cookie is about 1 year-old, and is as playful as a puppy. She loves to chase a ball or toys inside or out. She's 14 lbs. with short legs, but she's speedy as can be! Cookie will carry your slippers away if you aren't careful.  She is a bit timid when meeting someone new, but warms up in just few minutes! Cookie loves other small dogs, but is frightened of big dogs. She will do best in a home with another small or medium-sized dog. She also likes cats! She loves to play outside, and she is learning to walk on a leash.  She's a "smart cookie" and is learning tricks very quickly. She is not quite house-trained yet, but she's clever and will get there with guidance from her new family. She is also learning to use a pee pad to reduce indoor accidents.
