Grandpa is a patrolman at heart. His energy is very much in line with his cattle dog rootsâalert, purposeful, and always on the lookout for things that need his attention. He immediately got to work `inspecting` the perimeter of the yard, like a four-legged security guard. He can be a bit timid at first, easily startled by unexpected movements or sounds, but his reaction is always quiet and thoughtful: he pauses, braces, and processes, never aggressive or reactive. Once youâve earned his trust, he might lean into you for comfort or offer you a kiss when you crouch to his level.Grandpa is food motivated and observant, traits that will serve him well as he bonds with his future people.
