Meet Nugget: Not at the shelter

Nugget’s human is searching for a home for him where he can be the only dog, loved and cared for, and not challenged by other dogs in the household. He is a two-and-a-half-year old, about twelve pounds, neutered, and current with vaccines. he may be a Minpin, or a Chihuahua or a nice mix. Here is what his mom says about him:  “Nugget is super sweet to humans but he needs to be the only animal as he is not the best with other pets. He loves going on walks and loves being outside, as well as sleeping and snuggling right next to you. He has an awesome and super funny personality. He loves to be around his human and does great in cars if you need to take him places. He hasn’t been around small children so I’m not sure how he would act but he has been with/around middle school kids and up.  Start with an application we will send it to his mom for her to review. friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

Adoption Process
Begin with an application to adopt. Other pets in household must be spay/neutered, current with rabies vaccines, dogs need to be current with HW testing and heartguard. Fees range between $75 and $300. We follow up on spays/neuters for pets under six months, and the fees include spay/neuter. Contract requires it. Adults are adopted out already spayed/neutered. Pets must be returned to FOAC if adoption ends.
