Meet Huck
Sweet Huck was a volunteer favorite at the shelter. He is 2 years old (a baby who was stuck in a rural shelter), 56lbs( is on a diet), neutered, heart worm negative, and current on vaccines. He revels in attention and knows basic commands. Huck was an owner surrender and is house and crate trained. He takes a while to warm up to some men so a slow intro with treats wins him over. Like most dogs and people, he doesn't respond to yelling or rough treatment. He loves to go for walks and would love to have a running partner to help him see the world. He would do best with older children. Huck is a fast learner and is eager to learn new cues and tricks. He is a snuggle bug according to his foster but would also like to go for a long walk or run. Because he is a typical beagle, he loves to chew so he would need someone who will work with him and take him to training class. If you think this adorable boy would make a wonderful addition to your home, PLEASE contact Rainbow Rescue at 757-472-1583 or [email protected]
