JIMENA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Jimena Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of April 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 13.8 lbs Gets Along With: Jimena does well with other dogs, We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! She may not go to a home with children under the age of 12. Currently Living at: Texas shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Jimena is Looking For: { A family to provide long walks and daily adventures etc. } What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application
2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit.
3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
