Meet Willard
Willard is an 8-year-old Walker Hound. This is the second time he has found himself in our care. He originally came in several years ago as a stray. He spent a long time here before getting adopted. Once adopted He enjoyed family life and spent a good amount of time with our friends at Camp Merricks. When he was surrendered again (no fault of his) they agreed to foster Willard until he can find a new family. Willard is a friendly, mature hound who is crate trained and enjoys sleeping on a big dog bed. He does well with most other dogs, of all sizes. A meet and greet is always helpful if prospective adopters have a dog in the home already. Willard rides well in the car and has fairly good leash manners. Willard loves to play, then nap. At a recent adoption event at a local winery, he was so well behaved and even went through the obstacle course with some of the volunteers there. He truly is a funny, friendly house hound.
