Meet Chipmunk Simon

Hi! My name is Simon and I am a sweet lab mix all the way from Mississippi! My brothers and I (Alvin and Theodore- after the chipmunks) were all locked in a small crate together outside, covered in our own waste, when luckily someone found us and helped us. That’s when I got to make the trip up here to Virginia! I am a very happy boy, my tail is always wagging! I love playing and love toys! I already love to play tug and chase after balls, my foster mom is teaching me to fetch the ball and bring it back.  She is also teaching me all the basics of being a really good boy and so is her 1 1/2 year old rescue pup. He and I love to play, so I’d do great in a house with another dog.  But I’m also a cuddle bug and would be happy to be your one and only.  I’m already learning to go potty outside (foster mom says I’m such a quick learner)! Not only that, but I’m learning basic commands like sit and shake! I’m learning how to walk on a leash and go for good boy walks, too. I am also learning to love my crate. Because of my past, I get a little worried at first and cry, but then I calm down and enjoy my space. I sure am ready to find my forever family and a forever home! Will you adopt me!?
